LIDIA G. DE LEÓN. Professor/Researcher at Faculty of Physical Culture Sciences of Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACH), México, from 1992 to date and head of the Exercise Physiology Laboratory. Medical doctor (1983 UACH). Master in Sports Sciences (1995 UACH). PhD on Physical Activity and Health (2010, Granada, Spain). Pos-Doctorate in Human Sciences (2015, Zulia, Venezuela).

Research topics: a) Physical activity and sedentary behavior: its effect on risk factors and/or non-communicable diseases; b) Energy metabolism at rest and exercise, its response to physical activity, sedentary behavior, body composition and diet; c) Morphological-anthropometric profile, its interaction with growth and maturation.

Member Level 1 of the National System of Researchers, CONACYT México. International Criterion Anthropometrist ISAK Level 4 since 2009.

Founding Member of International Advisory Council at Faculty of Sports Organization, Autonomous University of Nuevo León, Mexico (2017); Professor at Doctorate program at FCCF-UACH; Head of the Academic Group UACH–104 (Consolidated).
